2009 Upper Deck SPX Baseball

2009 Upper Deck SPX Baseball is back again this year with four jersey cards per box on average. You will get a nice mix of jersey cards in each box with dual, triple and quad jersey swatches. You will also find one autographed jersey or Rookie Signature per box on average. Each hobby box is packaged with 18 packs per box with 4 cards per pack.

The base set contains 100 cards and there are some  interesting insert sets to chase after. Some of the inserts are 20th Anniversary cards and Joe DiMaggio Career Highlights. The auto, patch and jersey cards come in several different varieties numbered as low as 50.

Some of the players to look for are Albert Pujols, Ryan Braun, Josh Hamilton, Derek Jeter, Evan Longoria and Chase Utley. The top Rookies to look for are David Price, Phil Coke and Matt Tuiasosopo.

2009 Topps Heritage Baseball

2009 Topps Heritage baseball is one of the most anticipated baseball card releases of the year. This year Topps Heritage is once again a favorite baseball card issue of set builders. Topps Heritage is available in hobby and retail boxes. The hobby boxes are packaged 24 packs per box with 8 cards per pack. Each hobby box comes with one autograph or relic card.

This issue pays tribute to the classic 1960 Topps baseball issue. There are 425 base cards of rookies, veterans and legends, there are also 75 short prints inserted at 1 in 3 packs. Some of the insert cards to look for are chrome parallels, refractors, new age performers, then and now, flashbacks and news flashbacks.

Autograph collection cards are hand numbered. Each hobby box also includes a box loader pack. Some of the key rookie cards to look for are David Price, Aaron Cunningham, Alcides Escobar, Michael Bowden, Angel Salome, Gaby Sanchez, Mat Gamel, Phil Coke, Matt Tuiasosopo, Kila Ka’aihue, Travis Snider and Dexter Fowler.

2009 Upper Deck Baseball Series One

2009 Upper Deck Baseball is back this year with a 500 card base set and some exciting inserts. Each hobby box contains two game used memorabilia cards and one autographed card on average. Hobby boxes are packaged with 16 packs per box with 20 cards per pack.

 

Some of the inserts to look for are Gold Parallels numbered to 99, 1975 O Pee Chee and 1975 Mini O Pee Chee, Yankee Stadium Legacy Updates. The autograph cards are Inkredible and UD Game Jersey Autographs numbered up to 99. You can also collect the USA National and Junior National teams jersey cards, patches and autographs.

 

Memorabilia cards come in UD Game Jersey, UD Game Jersey Double Swatch numbered up to 149, UD Game Jersey Triple Swatch numbered up to 99, UD Game Jersey Quad Swatch numbered up to 15 and also look for Piece of History 500 Home Run Club Bat Cards.

 

The key rookie cards in 2009 Upper Deck are David Price, Phil Coke, Jason Pridie, Travis Snider, Mat Gamel, Michael Bowden, Kila Ka’aihue, Josh Whitesell, Dexter Fowler and Wilkin Castillo.

Topps comes roaring back this year with a much improved set for 2009. The hobby has been very receptive of 2009 Topps Baseball this year. Collectors have been complaining about the lack of product ever since its release earlier this month. So what is all the buzz about with Topps Baseball this year?

New for 2009 Topps Baseball introduces Legends of the Game commemorating 25 of the greatest players of all time, names like Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Mickey Mantle and Lou Gehrig. With autographs, cut signatures, patch cards, and relics, these rare and matchless cards are ONLY available through Topps.

Every 36 count hobby box contains 6 Legends of the Game, 9 Turkey Red inserts, 6 Ring of Honor inserts, 4 numbered parallels, 1 World Baseball Classic redemption and 36 ToppsTown player cards. There is 1 autograph or relic card per hobby box.

The base set contains 255 Veterans, 30 Rookies, 15 Managers, 10 League Leaders, 8 Post Season Highlights, 2 Cy Young Winners, 2 League MVPs, 2 Rookie of the Year, Mickey Mantle and 2 Classic Combos. There are also 17 shortprinted legends.

Some of the other insert and parallels available are Silk Collection, Platinum, Black, Gold and Printing Plates. Sketch cards are inserted 1 per case. There are also 25 American Legend Cut Signature Cards all one of ones.
