2008 Topps Heritage Baseball

2008 Topps Heritage Baseball brings you the year’s best Rookies and Veterans highlighted on the classic 1959 Topps Baseball design. This year, Topps Heritage is introducing News Flashbacks of historic events from 1959 as well as Real One Dual Autographed cards! In addition, Topps Heritage offers Hobby Exclusive Advertising Panel Box Loaders and Original Topps cards from 1959.
The set includes 500 base cards with 88 black background variations. The 500 base cards are broken down into 425 rookies and veterans along with 75 short prints. The short prints are seeded one in three hobby packs. Some of the inserts available are chrome parallels in black bordered, chrome and refractor versions falling two per hobby box. Other inserts found six per box total included New Age Performers, Then and Now, Flashbacks and News Flashbacks.
Each hobby box comes with either one auto or relic per box on average. Hobby boxes also come with a box loader with an advertising panel. Also at an insertion rate of 1:2 hobby boxes are 1959 Topps Originals. The 1959 Originals have a special stamp on them celebrating 50 years.
Some of the possible cut signatures you may find in this years Heritage product are Roberto Clemente and Mickey Mantle. 2008 Topps Heritage is loaded with the current big names and the all time greats of the past like Don Drysdale, Ernie Banks, Mantle, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Yogi Berra and Luis Aparicio.
2008 Topps Heritage Baseball is a set builders delight. The original 1959 Topps is a beloved set and Topps does a great job of recreating the old with the new.
