2008 Topps Baseball

This years edition of Topps Baseball has something for everyone. The design for this year is a big departure from last year. The first couple of things I noticed was the white borders and the team names appearing in circles across the tops. The hobby box configuration this year is 36 packs with ten cards per pack.
There are several interesting insert cards to chase this year like campaign cards of the Presidential hopefuls and the Presidential Stamp Collection cards which contain actual postage stamps of fifteen of our Presidents like George Washington and John F. Kennedy. The Campaign cards are also available with cut signatures.
My favorite insert series is the Topps All-Rookie Team 50th Anniversary cards. These cards feature 55 players that have been named to the Topps All-Rookie Team. These cards will also be issued in Gold Foil, Autographs and Relic cards versions. A few more of the inserts are Replica Mini Jerseys, In the Name Patch Relics, World Champion Autographs , Own the Game and Year in Review just to name a few. 2008 Topps Series One Baseball is available now at your hobby dealer.

2007 Bowman Sterling Baseball Hobby Box

Configuration: 6 packs per box. 5 cards per pack.
Packs contain 1 Rookie, 1 Prospect, 1 Relic or 1 Autographed Relic, and 2 autographed cards.
2007 Bowman Sterling Baseball continues to impress collectors with the most sought after Rookie cards, Autographed Rookies, and Autographed Bowman Exclusive Prospects. Every card in every pack is value added and produced using popular Chrome technology. Bowman Sterling will continue to be a strong lineup with its guaranteed value.
The box loaders are loaded with great stuff. One of the loaders will contain either a dual auto with three possible parallel versions, or a red or black parallel of a base or prospect card. Also you may find a printing plate or an autographed printing plate. In the other box loader look for the A-Rod Road to 500 cards with a possible autograph.

This is one of the most anticipated products of the year if you collect rookies and prospects. The Hobby box configuration is 24 packs with 7 cards per pack. Each hobby pack contains 2 Rookies, 2 Draft Picks/Prospects, 2 Bowman Chrome and 1 Gold Parallel. There are more than 110 Rookies, Draft Picks and Prospects featured in this issue. Every Hobby box contains 1 Autographed Draft Pick card. This issue is packed full of inserts like Refractors, Parallels, Relics and Autos.

2007 Topps Updates and Highlights Baseball

Updates and Highlights comes packed 36 packs and ten cards per pack in the hobby version. This issue celebrates the 2007 Baseball season including roster updates, All Star Game, Milestones and the playoffs. There are 330 cards in the base set. There are over 50 new Rookies in this set. Every hobby box will have one autographed or relic card per box. The box loaders is one of the 55 Chrome Rookies. There are also variants in some of the rookies to chase after.
